--Gibson Howard Roberts Custom ( 1974-1981 )In 1974 gibson introduced the howard roberts guitar which was originally an epiphone model .The guitar had an arched 16" wide full depth maple body with an oval soundhole , one floating humbucking pickup,rosewood fingerboard ( the inlays were the same like the old epiphone guitars) , and chrome plated hardware .
