10 BEST GUITAR PLAYERS WORLD
For best Affairs, is a subjective and uncertain, such as science. depending on the audience of the music itself and from which side they saw the guitarist's ability. This is a list that I got from the neighbor next door. after asking permission to the owner of the blog, is finally obtained permission to publish listnya here, or if you want to direct the slide to the original owner of this post, please here
1. Jimi Hendrix ("Guitar Gods")
Current time rock guitarist who seek eternal teacher or just looking to meet peak of the game just one person: Jimi Hendrix. Whom, and from him alone, all the techniques that are now reconciled. Check out the published confessions of Guitar magazine (November 1997): "He's the biggest thing I've ever seen," said Stevie Ray Vaughn,. bluesyang guitarist died in a helicopter crash in 1990.
"Agree, Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones guitar picker, stating that she" played a very interesting material potion ". And Eric Clapton, one guitarist, nicknamed in the 1970s guitar god, Jimi is acknowledged with" I finally feel meet other people I can talk and play. "
The phenomenon is actually a paradox in the fact that Jimi was not there anymore. He died at the Hospital of St. Mary Abbot, London, for excessive swallowing drugs. That said, he deliberately kill himself (the message and the statement before that statement, as quoted Q Encyclopedia of Rock Stars, among others, in the form: "I've died a long time.")
However, if the notice is true, Jimi was the one who "discovered" almost all the possibilities of exploration to play guitar. At the time, when the sound is still very limited accessories, he has played perfectly wah and distortion - which then became the foundation of rock 'n' roll in those days afterward. He even equip himself with a stance-a stance acrobatics, such as plucking the strings with my teeth.
Born on November 27, 1942 in Seattle, United States, under the name Johnny Allen Hendrix, Jimi paying attention to the music, especially guitar, since childhood. Guitar hero on those days, like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Holly, and Robert Johnson, became his idol. The first guitar, an acoustic type, obtained from his father in the summer of 1958. With the capital he joined The Velvetones. And since it was his way of life as already outlined.
By The Velvetones Jimi only three months follow-up. The following summer, armed with newly acquired electric guitar, again, from his father, Jimi joined The Rocking Kings. After that Jimi had time to follow the draft, and formed the band in the barracks, but soon. Injuries caused him dismissed from the service. Everything changes when, as a fill-in guitarist who has played with various artists satiety, in 1966, he met Chas Chandler, bass pembetot Animals - a band that has hit the House of the Rising Sun.
Chas, who decided to get out of Animals and choosing a new job as manager, brought Jimi to England. There Chas Jimi unite with Mitch Mitchell, drummer, and Noel Redding, the player who asked membetot bass guitar. Together the two of them, and then forming Jimi Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Experience quickly soared. His first single, "Hey Joe, got 10 weeks ngendon in the UK charts, reaching the top six at the beginning of 1967. This success was immediately followed by the album "Are You Experience?. This is a recording that has been hailed as a new compilation of music at all radical; album that speaks the spirit of generations at the time.
But the new popularity in their own country gained when Jimi opportunity to perform at the Monterey International Pop Festival, County fairground, Monterey, California, in 1967. This is where Jimi exhibiting phenomenal theatrical action: burning and destroying his guitar.
Flag of Jimi's career high terkerek since then. Succession, in less than a year, between 1968-1969, with Mitch and Noel, he released Axis: Bold as Love and the double album Electric Ladyland. On the last album called Jimi, who finally has his own studio, putting all his ability as a guitarist as well as operator-sound engineer. Huge success. But the inevitable victims: Experience disbanded.
Jimi did not then go drown. He even had time to enliven the festival band that has so far not forgotten in the history of rock music: Woodstock Music & Art Fair. The year was 1969. Jimi, who performed with the Gypsy Sons & Rainbows (among others strengthened Mitch), pocketed pay 125 thousand dollars in the United States, the highest among the other artists.
A reasonable fee, but, apparently, that's a grand final appearance for Jimi. A year later he would have preferred to leave everything, forever. Physically, anyway. You see, the influence of Jimi just stay alive until now.

Nuno Bettencourt is a rock guitarist best in the game ritemnya. Several other guitarists who can match the game can be counted eg ritemnya: John Petrucci, Darren Housholder and some other metal funk players.
Nuno creativity techniques in creating a new game has been known since the first album the band Extreme and the second group is: "Extreme" and "Pornograffitti". No wonder Nuno crowned the "Best New Talent" (best newcomer) so Extreme launched his second album "Pornograffitti".
In accordance with Nuno own words in the interview-interview that the ideal is to write Nuno colored funk albums like Pearl Jam, Nirvana and the like. Therefore if you want to listen to Nuno expertise as a shredder, then we recommend you listen to the album Extreme: "Pornograffitti".
The first album "Extreme" and their third album, "Three Side Story" is also not good to lose. Precisely Nuno own solo album and his new band Mourning widows, did not show the skill of the game Nuno own. Extreme demise quite disappointing fans of Nuno.
In 1982 the first time met Nuno Extreme vocalist: Gary Cherone. This is the beginning of the band Extreme TSB. Two years later (1984) Nuno leave school and concentrate on training his guitar playing. Nuno see Extreme drummer Mike Mangini at a club in the Van Halen tribute band, while other bands having a rest, Mike played a great drum solo.

8. Eddie Van Halen ("Pioneer of two Handed Tapping technique")
Before the era of the guitar, popularized by Yngwie Malmsteen shredd in 1984, six years before Eddie Van Halen has been more successful had tumultuous world of music. Handed Tapping Technique two or commonly called tapping alone has managed to be absolutely poisoned more than half of the existing rock guitarist in America. Not only tapping technique, he also popularized the style of hard rock guitar playing is very different from most rock guitarist thick enough bluesnya game. Eruption guitar solo at the songs contained in the group Van Halen's debut album is surprisingly became the main conversation rock guitarists were the days.
Eddie Van Halen or referred by a brief call EVH, is an immigrant from Holland. He and his family moved to America around the 60s. Originally studied piano first and then a bit of concentration in the drum. While his older brother, Alex Van Halen actually learn the guitar.
Secretly they both steal each other the opportunity to learn an instrument that was not hers. Alex learned the drums, guitar EVH. It turned out that even the two agreed to exchange instruments. Be then pursue EVH guitar.
Upon learning the guitar, he was quite affected with the game from Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. Then they formed a band called Mammoth which eventually became Van Halen with the arrival of Michael Anthony on bass and David Lee Roth on vocals. The band officially formed in 1974.
Van Halen album, released in 1978 managed to penetrate the Billboard charts up to position 15 and successfully sold over 2 million copies in which one of the reasons is EVH guitar solo on the instrumental song, Eruption.
Eddie Van Halen's name directly flying because tapping technique he managed to popularize. Although the contribution from David Lee Roth as an attractive and a phenomenal vocalist could also underestimated, but practically a EVH more selling. Name into the conversation and repeatedly won awards as Guitarist of the Year by the magazines.
In addition to tapping into trademarknya techniques, EVH also known as the smile he always displayed in all circumstances. No wonder young guitarists in America so respected. EVH Fender guitar and then made an appearance Stratocasternya be different. Body is red with white lines to be one selling point.
The next album, the days became vocalist David Lee Roth is Van Halen released II (1979) and the Woman and Children First (1980), Fair Warning (1981), Diver Down (1982), and an album that is one of the masterpieces from the Van Halen albums namely in 1984, released in 1984.
In the album in 1984, EVH keyboard displays a captivating game. Instead of ordinary people more familiar with the voice and keyboard in the song Jump game than his guitar techniques. Jump song became a champion on the Billboard charts.
In 1983, before the album was released in 1984. EVH could cooperate with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. EVH participate in the Thriller album project which later sold more than 20 million copies. He polished the song called Beat It became slightly colored rock and dance. Not forgetting also EVH guitar solo displays and techniques tappingnya rampant in the song. The emergence of EVH in the song got tremendous response to the acquisition topped the Billboard charts for weeks.
1986 Van Halen pullback changing formations with David Lee Roth and was replaced by Sammy Haggar. Even so, EVH is still capable of showing the games best guitar.
Subsequent albums such as 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), For Unlwaful Carnal Knowledge (1991), and the Balance (1995) is still quite capable of extending the breath in the world of Van Halen recordings. Soon after returning Van Halen changed with the arrival of vocalist Gary Cherone (ex-Extreme).
Van Halen during the Gary Cherone by many regarded as the worst era with a marked lack of success of the album Van Halen III (1998). EVH 2001 mouth cancer, he was forced out for about two years for the healing process.
9. Michael Schenker ("Guitar Hero One of the pioneers in Germany")
If you held a poll about the "10 best guitarists of all time German", I'm sure if the name Michael Schenker will include one of them. Even if given the choice of 5, I remain confident his name will remain inside. Not surprising when you see football terjangnya made a name for Germany as a country that has a first class guitarist and able to compete with powerful guitarist from England and America.
Michael and his brother, Rudolf has the same hobby, which is play guitar. Michael has been an inspiration in music from two bands that are popular in those days, Wishbone Ash and Mountain. He also briefly moonlighted as Transcriber songs.
Early 70s, he joined Rudolf's band, The Scorpions. Michael's game pretty striking coincidence, but when the band released its debut album, Lonesome Crow in 1972 the album had not received a positive response. One thing to note, when Michael was just 17 years of age.
After participating in the promo tour with Scorpions, other band called UFO interested in his talents. Then Michael left the Scorpions and joined UFO guitarist who had just left, Michael Bolton (but not the singer Michael Bolton).
Together with UFO, Michael had released several albums, including Phenomenon (1974), Force It (1975), No Heavy petting (1976), Lights Out (1977), Obsession (1978). In the era of Michael Schenker is a UFO flying and can get a wider audience to the American market.
Guitar game show as an influential musician. He is also famous figure who was carrying the Gibson Flying-V with body paint dimodif in part, half black, half white.
But after the album release the album Obsession, Michael expelled from the UFO because of alcoholism and returned to the Scorpions. He replaced the previous Uli John Roth replace him when he came out of the Scorpions first.
Returning to the Scorpions, he joined Lovedrive released in 1979. But unfortunately, while undergoing his first tour in America, Michael was again absent due to addiction to alcohol present. The album was not accepted in the United States mainly because of the cover of his album. Michael was replaced by Matthias jabs that eventually became the permanent guitarist Scorpions until recently.
After leaving the Scorpions, he had been appointed as temporary replacement guitarist Joe Perry in Aerosmith. After that Michael decided to pursue a solo career by forming Michael Schenker Group or commonly known as MSG.
In this band he acted as a drafter and guitarist. While to be filled vocals by Robin McAuley. Album release is Michael Schenker Group (1980), MSG (1981), Assault Attack and One Night at Budokan (1982). Album was enough character to make Ozzy Osbourne Ozzy had offered him after the death of guitarist Randy Rhoads.
Year of the early '90s, Michael also had the chance to join Ratt to play MTV unplugged. In addition he has appeared in Contraband collaboration with personnel from rock bands such as Shark Island at that time, Vixen, Ratt, and LA Guns). Then he released the album "Thank You (1993), and Unforgiven (1999). In 1995, Michael re-joined the UFO, and released the album Walk On Water, and then in 2002 released the album, Sharks.
With a distinctive voice and guitar riffs are catchy guitar riff as its contribution to the Queen, Brian May became one of the few musicians who are talented and give effect to the 70s.
10. Bryan May
He is the son of an electronics technician and musician. He inherited his father was involved in the field of soldering and music. But she was able to balance the interests of the technology and musician and then proceeded to grab a degree in Physics. In her spare time she took a guitar assisted by his father. This homemade guitar which then becomes a trade-mark Brian May in each appearance.
While still a school he formed his first band, in 1984, which is an instrumental band. Their band gigs around London and it opened the show artist / legendary bands like Traffic, Jimmi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Tyrannosaurus Rex (later known as the T-Rex). In 1968, he left the band to focus on his studies at Imperial College.
When in college, often hanging out with my May and Roger Taylor formed a trio hard rock band called Smile. Instead he also continued his education at the S2 level math and science majors, but then instead decided to focus more fully on music.
Smile band signed with Mercury Records and released one single that did not succeed. Then they added Freddy Mercury on vocals, and changing the position of their band's name became Queen.
After working with several bassist, they finally found and recruited John Deacon in 1971. Queen later signed a contract with EMI and released his debut album (Queen) in 1973 with the main strength of their album: a combination of Freddie Mercury, opera vocals and riff-riff cool Brian May.
Brian May with Queen continues berekperimen by developing their sound. Albun A Night at the Opera was released in 1975 and spawned the hit song "Bohemian Rhapsody", which broadcast their music skills and prowess as a songwriter.
Both of their next album A Day At The Races in 1976 and News of the World in 1977 also with great success on radio and in music stores with their hits like "We Will Rock You" and even "We Are The Champions" from the album News of the World even used a song of victory in sports competitions around the world until now.
Interestingly, one of the songs from the album News, "It's Late" is a song where Brian May using a two-Handed tapping and hammer-on as a solo guitar and a year later the new Eddie Van Halen's famous two-Handed Tapping with his own style. May said that tapping technique which he used from a guitar band diconteknya clubs in the area of Texas. According to the band's guitarist Billy Gibbons instead (ZZ Top) who first used it and he just menconteknya.
After Freddie Mercury's death in 1991, Queen was officially disbanded. Only on special events such as the "Concert for Life tribute to Mercury" in 1992 (raising money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, formed to raise awareness of the dangers of AIDS).
Brian May and then focus more on solo career, releasing Back To The Light in 1993. A year later he released Live at Brixton Academy, whose contents are a mix of songs from his solo career and a collection of Queen songs. In 1998 he released an album entitled Another World, where Jeff Beck joined the guitar fills on the song "The Guv'nor".

Side bending.....

Everything I need to bend the sides. In the vice, my wood bender, you can see the temperature control on the front. Water, my template to judge the bend against and the previously prepared Indian Rosewood sides.
I heat up the metal column of the bender, apply water to the area I'm bending and gently tease the side into shape around the column. The heat and water from the bender soften the fibres of the timber, making it pliable and possible to bend. With a timber like rosewood, I don't actually need to use any water as its natural waxyness and resin allow me to carry out the same process. When bending i can often see the resin bubbling out of the grain as the heat is applied.

I start the first bend at the waist of the guitar, this is the tightest curve on this guitar and from there I work out to the heel and then to the end block. Although Ive reduced the sides down to an even 2mm, at the tightest bends I thickness down to 2.7mm to make the bend a little easier and avoid any splitting.

The waist to the heel end of the guitar is complete, its time for a cuppa so I clamp the side into the jig to stop the side unwinding as I'm attending to the tea pot. Its also important to keep control of the heat on the bender, it takes some practice to tell when your bender is running too hot, if you set your clothes on fire then you know you have failed at this :) I use my tea break to cool down the bender.

Here I'm comparing my bends to the template, gradually easing and coaxing the rosewood into shape......

The finished side clamped into the jig.

Both finished sides clamped into the jig. Things are shaping up :)
